Sunil P. Verma

Dr. Verma earned his medical degree with honors and completed his residency training at the University of Southern California. During his fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, he was engaged in projects related to vocal cord injection and office-based laser use for upper airway lesions. He also contributed to laryngeal education-related manuscripts, published a laryngeal dissection manual, and initiated a twice-per-year laryngeal anatomy and surgery course for residents.

Verma, the author of many published articles and presentations, is now director of voice & swallowing at the University of California, Irvine Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, where he conducts research and maintains a busy clinical practice.
