Sandra Lin, MD is professor and chair of the University of Wisconsin Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Before her move to the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Lin spent 20 years in the Johns Hopkins Department of Otolaryngology where she held multiple leadership roles such as senior vice chair of clinical operations, and director of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Clinical Specialties
Lin is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Her clinical practice is focused on sinusitis and allergic rhinitis. She has expertise in chronic sinusitis in patients with cystic fibrosis and immunodeficiencies, as well as in sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT, allergy drops) for environmental inhalant allergies.
Research Interests
Lin’s research efforts are focused on the relationship of olfaction (smell) to cognitive decline, the effectiveness of allergy immunotherapy, and sinusitis in cystic fibrosis patients.
