Position title: Associate Professor in the Division of Geriatrics and in the Department of Medicine
Dr. Pulia’s research focuses on the characterization of key factors underlying dysphagia in older adults and people with Alzheimer’s disease as well as outcomes-based studies to assess the efficacy of innovative approaches in dysphagia. Dr. Pulia is also investigating the characterization of the oral microbiome in patients undergoing oncologic treatment for head and neck cancer.
