Dr. Schelbar hails from Tulsa, Oklahoma, although she was raised a Kansas Jayhawk from birth and later completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Kansas. Her research interests include access of health care for non-English speaking patients, as well as medical and resident education. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and rescue dogs.
