Clinical Specialties
Dr. Bigelow is a fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstruction surgeon, with training in the full spectrum of facial aesthetic surgery and reconstruction of acquired or malignant defects of the head and neck. Her reconstructive areas of expertise include the comprehensive surgical and non-surgical management of facial paralysis, Mohs (skin cancer) reconstruction, facial gender affirmation surgery, microtia repair, maxillofacial trauma, and head and neck cancer reconstruction. Her cosmetic interests include rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, brow lift, facelift, and non-surgical treatments such as skin resurfacing and injectables. Bigelow strives to work together with her patients to understand their goals and desires, with the goal of selecting the right treatment plan to achieve lasting and safe results.
Bigelow provides a wide range of services including blepharoplasty, Botox, brow lift, cheek implants, chin augmentation, earlobe repair, ear surgery (otoplasty), face lift, facial nerve repair, filler injections, hairline contouring/lowering, laser resurfacing, lip augmentation, mini-face lift, mid-face lift, maxillofacial trauma repair, microvascular reconstruction, neck lift, reconstructive rhinoplasty, rhinoplasty, scar revision, septoplasty, skin cancer reconstruction.
Research Interests
Bigelow is interested in treatment decision making and shared decision making among patients and clinicians, particularly as it pertains to patients with facial paralysis and for transgender and gender-diverse individuals. She also has a strong interest in training the next generation of facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons.
