Dr. Wieland is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He specializes in treatment of head and neck cancer, voice and swallowing disorders, trauma, reconstruction, and robotic surgery. He is chief of the otolaryngology service at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital.
Wieland provides a wide range of services including airway dilation, airway reconstruction, endoscopic partial laryngectomy, esophageal dilation, free flap, free tissue transfer, functional neck dissection, laryngeal surgery, laser procedures, leukoplakia laser treatment, maxilofacial trauma repair, open partial laryngectomy, repairs of skull base defects, skin cancer reconstruction, skull base surgery, total laryngectomy, tracheostomy, transnasal esophagoscopy (TNE), transoral robotic surgery.
