Clinical Specialties

Dr. Harrington provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of pediatric otolaryngology. Her clinical practice focuses on pediatric chronic ear disease and hearing rehabilitation, congenital head and neck abnormalities, airway and swallowing disorders, and multidisciplinary care for medically complex and critically ill children.

She provides a wide range of services including adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, tympanostomy (ear) tube placement, airway endoscopy and reconstruction, laryngeal papilloma laser treatment, flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, sleep endoscopy, tracheostomy, branchial cleft cyst excision, lymphovascular malformation excision, neck mass excision, thyroglossal duct cyst excision, parotidectomy, endoscopic sinus surgery, mastoidectomy, cholesteatoma excision, ossiculoplasty, tympanoplasty, cochlear implantation and osseointegrated bone conduction device implantation.

Research Interests

Dr. Harrington’s research and scholarly interests include pediatric hearing loss, pediatric cochlear implantation, hearing and language development, social determinants of health in pediatric surgical care, culturally competent care, and resident education and mentorship.
